Alfred Blalock Elementary School is an urban school in Northwest Atlanta. It is located one mile outside the I-285 perimeter in the Bankhead Courts Housing Projects.

Blalock has an active enrollment of 540 students. All students receive instruction from a specialist in Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, Spanish, Physical Education, and Computer Education..

Blalock is a " Character First School ". Our Character Education Program gives a balanced focus upon all aspects of development including intellectual, social, ethical and academics.
