| Inclement
Weather |
|
In
case of inclement weather, please listen to WSB-750 AM for
school closing information.
|
|
|
| Severe
Weather |
|
In case
of severe weather, students and staff will be evacuated to their
assigned severe weather locations inside the building. If severe
weather occurs near school dismissal time, dismissal will be
postponed until the time that it is considered safe for the
students to be released. This determination will be made by
the Superintendent's Office. Parents will be allowed to sign
students out for early dismissal during this time. |
| Fire |
|
In case
of fire, students and staff will be evacuated to their assigned
fire locations outside of the building. Parents are asked
not to come to sign students out for early dismissal until
the students and staff are allowed to re-enter the building.
If re-entry is not possible the students and staff will be
relocated to our emergency secondary facility (see evacuation
below).

| Bus
Accident |
|
In case
of a bus accident, parents will be notified immediately. Parents
are asked not to remove students from the bus until the proper
authorities have collected a list of all the students involved
and injuries are assessed. Once the authorities have collected
the necessary information students will be transferred to another
bus to continue their trip home. |
| Other
Emergency Event |
|
In case
of an emergency event that requires evacuation, students and
staff will be evacuated to their assigned locations outside
of the building. If evacuation is not necessary students will
be moved to a safe location within the building. Parents are
asked not to come to sign students out for early dismissal until
the students and staff are allowed to re-enter the building.
If re-entry is not possible the students and staff will be relocated
to our emergency secondary facility (see evacuation below).
Parents will be notified in writing and via the telephone of
all emergency events. |
