William Madison Boyd Elementary School was named in honor of the late Dr. William M.Boyd, an African American educator. Boyd was built in 1970. The facility is nestled among stately pine trees and shrubs, indigenous to the state of Georgia. Due to its unique location, ample space is available for many outdoor activities such as Track and Field events and nature trails.
