The teachers at Boyd Elementary participatedin the ISTE Institute. “ISTE Institute: Leading with NETS,” is a professional development program for educators based on ISTE’s National Education Technology Standards (NETS). At the institute, school teams met for two days of face-to-face interactive training, followed by a 10-week mentored online course and concluding with a one-day face-to-face session. The participants developed a deeper understanding of how to improve learning with technology integration and promote second-order change in the classroom.

The following teachers participated in the ISTE Institute, so click on the presentations below to see our work

This theme was chosen to develop a healthy self-concept, develop cooperative learning skills, improve students’ achievement in language arts, and mathematics. With the use of technology, student will become thinkers, and independently responsible learners as well as self-confident individual and team players.

The teachers presented at the ISTE Gallery Walk at the CLL building on Saturday December, 4th. Others APS schools who participated where there to show what they had done.

We will share our projects with the staff and be available to provide assistnce to other teachers who wish to enhance their lessons with technology.
