MISSION

We must focus our talents and resources on ensuring that Capitol View STUDENTS are fully prepared for success in school and in life.

Capitol View is a uniform school

White, Gold, Blue, or Pink Polo type shirt.
Navy Blue or Khaki pants, shorts, skirts, or jumpers.
*Boys must wear a belt and have shirts tucked in at all times.
Uniforms must be worn everyday Monday - Thursday.

Philosophy

We believe that our schools function is to provide a rigorous and engaging instructional program that consists of effective practices that will ensure optimal academic achievement for all of our students. We believe that all students can and will learn, given equal access and opportunities to enriched educational resources. Capitol View Elementary School seeks to ensure that all students will meet or exceed all expectations placed upon them throughout the school year by providing a safe, nurturing, and risk-free learning environment.

Business Partner

Since 1994, this real estate firm has released its employees to volunteer their time to tutor and mentor the Capitol View Elementary School students.

Registration Requirements

Atlanta Public Schools Enrollment/Registration Form ( PDF)

State of Georgia Immunization Form 3231

State of Georgia Hearing, Dental and Vision Form 3300

Birth Certificate (Students must be 5 years old by September 1, 2005 to register for Kindergarten).

Confirmation of Grade Level/Withdrawal documents (if other than Kindergarten registration).

Social Security Card

Proof of Residence in School Attendance zone (Each of the following items MUST be presented).

IMPORTANT: The Fulton County Health Department provides low-cost immunization services for all Fulton County residents. Follow this link for a complete list of locations and service hours.
