It's
fund-raisinfg time again. Time for our KATHRYN BEICH
Fall Fund-Raiser! The Grove Park PTA will be offering
a great assortment of gift items from the Holiday Wishes
catalog. Our kick-off rally will begin on August 26th
and sales will end on September 12th. The PTA is asking
that each student participate in the fall fund-raiser
by selling a minimum of two items. We are confident
that you will enjoy selling these items to your friends,
family, neighbors, and co-workers.
The
profits from this sale will be used to finance such
things as student incentives, parent workshops and brunches,
student earned trips, school projects, teacher appreciation
items, and other student activities at Grove Park Elementary
School.
The
top selling student will receive JOBOT THE ROBOT and
the top selling class will receive a private story
telling session from, NAJUMA THE STORYTELLER.

To
show your support this year we would like to encourage
and challenge each person who cares for the students
at Grove Park Elementary School to join the PTA and
make this the most successful PTA ever. This school
year the cost of joining the PTA is $10.00 per person.
We are asking every parent, grandparent or guardian
to show your support to our children and the teachers
by volunteering at least 1 hour month to assist in making
our school better. We understand that everyone cannot
volunteer during the day; for those of you who cannot
we have many other ways that you can. You can volunteer
to be a room parent, (making calls in the evening),
helping with the Health Fair/Carnival (planned for Saturday,
October 25th), helping with Hands on Atlanta Day, (planned
for Saturday, October 4th) and seveal other projects.
Let's
show our children how much working together with the
school can make a difference. |
