At Crawford Long Middle School our vision is to become a “School of Excellence” an institution fulfilling the physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs of all students. We believe that:

• Student learning is the chief priority for the school.

• Schools need to function as a learning organization and promote opportunities for all those who have a stake in the success of the school and work together as a community of learners.

• Students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process.

• Each student is valued individually with unique physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs.

• Exceptional students (e.g. Special Education, Limited English Proficiency, Talent and Gifted, etc,) require special service and resources.
