Georgia Council for the Arts Announces Two Arts Education Grants

The award is for a maximum of $200/per participating teacher or staff.

2) Parent Teacher Artists (PTA) Grant has been developed as a collaboration between partnering organizations and schools (K-5 only in the pilot year FY2007) to engage students and their parents/families in hands-on arts education activities. PTA Grant is for up to $3,000 and requires a one-third match.

The application deadline for both grants is October 13, 2006. Guidelines for eligibility and complete instructions are available by clicking on the link below.
