APS Elementary Honor Chorus

Recommended students from all APS elementary schools have the opportunity to audition for participation in the Honor Chorus.
Auditions are held each spring.
Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 3:30 - 5:30 p. m.

APS Superintendent's Jazz Ensemble

The Superintendents Jazz Ensemble is open to all musicians from grades 6 through high school who are successfully recommended by their band director.
The goal of the Superintendents Jazz Ensemble is to provide an opportunity for the young musician to continue his/her music education, in a full big band jazz ensemble setting, under the direction of music educators and professional musicians.
Rehearsals are held weekly during the school year. Specific times and dates of rehearsals are provided in handouts at the beginning of each season.

APS Youth Orchestra

Recommended instrumental students from all APS middle and high schools have the opportunity to participate in the Youth Orchestra.
Rehearsals are held each Monday, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at North Atlanta High School.

Urban Youth Harp Ensemble

The goal of this program is to deliver quality musical instruction on the harp, develop music reading skills and musicianship, and learn the history and care of the harp.
The Urban Youth Harp Ensemble meets at The New Schools at Carver. Rehearsal day and time: TBA
Recommended elementary and middle school students are admitted to this program.
