The North Atlanta Planetarium Is Closed Until Further Notice

The North Atlanta Planetarium is a multi-sensory theater that offers an unusual window of opportunities for students to investigate the universe. Each grade level can participate in a standards oriented program to experience the wonders, and discoveries under a truly dark starlit sky.

The technological wizardry of the planetarium's special effects helps to unravel the basic mysteries of our solar system members and beyond. For a taste of what students will see at the planetarium, click here to download a PowerPoint presentation on the planetarium.

The planetarium programs provide engaging activities aligned with QCC standards in science, social studies, math and other disciplines.

The planetarium presentations can be adapted for use with special projects or curricula if a timely request is given.
