The science instructional program focuses on the acquisition of standards-based scientific knowledge through hands-on, inquiry oriented, problem-solving experiences. To ensure the mastery of these concepts, elementary, middle, and high school students are exposed to a variety of laboratories, Internet explorations, field trips, competitions, and enrichment opportunities.

Vision

We envision students who are active and creative problem-solvers, critical reflective thinkers, confident and competent learners, users of higher science and technology, and successful competitors in the global community.

Mission

The mission of the science instructional program is to align curriculum. Resources, strategies and technology in order to provide high quality integrated science education for all students. This mission will significantly improve student achievement and literacy in science
