Greetings, G. A. Towns community. The annual book fair is rapidly approaching. The Scholstic book fair will be here before you know it and Family Reading Night is aslo rapidly approaching. Book fair flyers will be sent home, please review the wonderful selection of reading material that is available and assist your child in making a selection. The upcoming Family Reading Night will allow parents to become familiar with our new reading initiative, "Accelerated Reader."
Please encourage your child to read for thirty minutes daily. You may read aloud to your child as well. Establish a quiet time in your house when everyone stops aor thirty minutes and reads. This will help your child to meet their Accelerated Reader goals and the academic improvement will be great!!!
