Parent Tips for the
CRCT
1. Make sure your
child gets a good night’s sleep before every test.
2. Provide a light,
healthy breakfast on test day.
3. Have your child
dress comfortably and arrive to school on time.
4. Send your child off
to school with confidence-building words of praise
and support:
(Ex.
You’ll do, Great! Believe in Yourself!, I Love You!)
5. Suggest that your
child breathe deeply to relax before and during the
test.
6. Remind your child to
read directions carefully and look at all answers
before choosing
one.
7. Tell your child to
check his/her answers before turning in the test
8. Do not schedule
trips, dental/medical appointments, or early check-outs
during
testing days.

INFORMATION
Parents and Students:
The CRCT is only a week away. The
testing dates are April 22-28. Makeup tests will be given April
29-May 1.
To help children prepare adequately for the CRCT, you can do
several things to provide support and create a positive
test-taking experience .

Furthermore, there is a study guide and practice tests for each
grade level available for your convenience.

NEWS TIDBITS
Congratulations to the Beta Club
members, SGA officers, and Safety Patrol members who were
recently installed. Several dignitaries attended the ceremony
and installed the members of the three organizations.
Judge
Marvin Arrington, assisted by Attorney, Marcus Thorpe of Huff,
Powell, & Bailey, LLC installed the SGA
Officers. Attorney Cynthia Johnson of the State Attorney
General's Office install the Beta Club members, and Carolyn
Kilpatrick from the Atlanta Chamber assisted by Brian Rahaming
installed the Safety Patrol members. |
