Dear Parents,

Let me take this opportunity to welcome you and your child(ren) to the school year 2003-2004 at Venetian Hills Elementary School.

The total staff is excited about implementing the goals and objectives set for the school year to improve student achievement. We hope that you are available during the year to assist us in this effort. There is much to be gained when there is a partnership between students, parents, staff, and the community.

The students will be engaged in a variety of programs that will assure academic and social success. The programs include Success For All (SFA), Move it Math (MIM), and Consistency Management and Cooperative Discipline (CMCD). We will also continue to offer the Family Support Program.

I am hoping that we can continue to work together to foster an excellent school-parent partnership for improved student achievement. Together, we can make a difference in the educational growth of our boys and girls here at Venetian Hills Elementary School.
