The student will:
• Ask parents to participate in their classroom and school-wide projects.
• Show respect and appreciation for community involvement.

The parent will:
• Volunteer at least 20 hours to the school during the year.
• Join the PTSA.
• Invite family members to become volunteers.

The teacher and school will:
• Invite and welcome parent and community volunteers.
• Develop strong, sound, community partners.
• Recognize and honor parent and community volunteers and the school’s partners.
